Bulletin: See You In 2024!

I’ve been sick since like Friday! Which one of you gave me the stomach bug?

For many reasons, this time of year is one of self-reflection, commitment to a better future, and even some R&R. And I’ve really lucked out in 2023. I took vacation for the first time in years, and the court’s business slows up this time of year, so everything kind of fits together in terms of time off and getting the chance to really think about life, liberty & the pursuit of happiness.

I know the writing on here can take this deep emotional, and sometimes negative tone. In reality, there’s a lot I am thankful for. I’ve got amazing family and time to enjoy my hobbies. I won’t get into the list in detail. I will say that I’m grateful as ever to you, reader. We’ve made a lot of memories together. Or maybe we’re starting with this one?

I am going to take some time away from my writing again. My best guesstimate is that that’s the right thing to do for me. I know a lot of you out there are selfless people that give, and give, and give. And it can be a little overwhelming in the season of giving. Do the right thing for you. You are the only person you will have to live with for the rest of your life, and that person is really, really important.
