Not talking about those that have already generously supplied funding after understanding the mission of this publication.

This blog has already made all the points I would make. Supply and demand is a thing. Supply up, demand same, price go down. The growth of the industry is an average 3%, which means demand is not skyrocketing the way the Speech-to-Text Institute might’ve had people believing. Stenograph is now artificially increasing the number of “realtime reporters.” Where do you think your price — your rates — are going to go?

Christopher Day shares what happens when you Google about supply and demand in relation to the former STTI Bloc attempting to increase the supply of realtime court reporters by making digital court reporting realtime. He also shows off his incorrect usage of the word effect.
Quick Facts summary on court reporters from the Bureau of Labor Statistics

And not for nothing, realtimers, but you are basically the 1% of our field. 90th percentile is only $126,000. Some of you have told me you pull in much, much more.

Realtimers have reportedly made $300,000 to $400,000 in a year. There are realtimers making triple the 90th percentile. This is from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

So yeah, you can sit back and watch as the remnants of the STTI Bloc systematically eliminate your income, or you can join forces with the guy that Veritext is afraid to acknowledge the existence of.

Assuming the top 1% make that money in a field of approximately 30,000, that’s 300 of you. If you set aside 2% of one year’s income for Stenonymous funding, it’s a war chest of $2.4 million. 2% income is about the cost of a good advertising campaign.

Actually, 6% is good, but I’ve done the math and for my operations, 2% would do it.

Let’s face it. I’m uniquely positioned to address these issues. I’ve openly accused some of the largest corps in the field of fraud. They haven’t done anything about that and the statute of limitations for defamation on the vast majority of my claims has lapsed. All that’s left is to fund my operation enough that it becomes un-ignorable. Then if the idiots sue, the press can use the court papers to bust open the fraud. If the idiots don’t sue, it’ll leave me to dominate the discussion the way I have been, and warn jobseekers not to get into digital. It’ll cut Veritext’s digital advertising and Stenograph’s bullshit realtime certs off at the knee. Which is what they deserve for being or associating with fraudsters, in my opinion.

Christopher Day once again shows off how the largest court reporting company in the United States, Veritext, has not refuted allegations of fraud for about 3 years.
Christopher Day once again shows off his work exposing the digital court reporting scam to jobseekers.

I also exposed the BlueLedge scam. I’ll let you Google that yourself.

Christopher Day shows off the political cartoon that illustrated the fact that BlueLedge was not setting up jobseekers for success.

I also exposed the lie about NCRA’s position on digital court reporting, which led to it being taken down from the internet.

Stenograph’s former president actually stepped down about a year after a little issue we had.

So… yeah… again… help the guy that runs circles around corporate executives that are actively fucking with the ecosystem that supplies you with your 1% money…

…or just wait and see.

To my donors, we’ve gone a long way together.

Everything that I’ve done is thanks to those of you that send money and information. I don’t ever deny it.

But if we don’t get more of us on board, what can I really do? I already sink as much of my disposable income as I can into this stuff, and it’s more than the 2% I’m asking for. My current backers give as much as they can too.

I need help spreading the message. The money is there. We just blow it on the NCRA instead of things that have actually made an impact.

At the heart of the issue is that all these companies are centralized money, which equates to power. All I’m proposing at the end of the day is that we start centralizing our money/power behind someone trustworthy. I’ve rolled pretty deep for this profession. My rolling is quite public. I’d bet you that with centralized power we could not only stop the likely drop in income, but begin building more demand for realtime services in the public eye. What happens when demand increases? Price go up.

INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY

Associations are constrained by rules and politics. I am not. It’s as simple as that. Would it make you feel better if we began a media corporation and you were the shareholders destined to make a return on your money? Because we can go that way too. Lefties eat up my anti-corporate activity. Heck, even right-winged thinkers get a laugh out of it. And there are enough of both in New York City that, with a little cash injection, we could reach them and make a return.

It’s not my problem that the laws of the United States allow such things. You back me, I’ll make sure things work out. I have a long, long history of living up to my promises.

If you’re interested in helping me kickstart such an endeavor, pledge here. You can make my full-time job making money for you and you’ve got about half a decade worth of writing to prove how seriously I take my missions. How cool is that?

Even if you don’t want to pledge, I’d ask this be passed around. I figure the free press from raising the money would finally shine a light on the court reporter shortage fraud.

Hey Veritext, “it’s just business.”

God, I’m starting to love that line.
