Bulletin: Social Media Posting Seeks Others Interested in Class Action Against Roni Parks, Vet Reporting, Vet Command, and On the Record for Zoom VA Work — Unverified!

Stenonymous publishes allegations that have not yet been verified for the purpose of connecting court reporters who may be affected. Pass it on if you know someone impacted.

And, of course, if something here is false, Stenonymous is open to receiving more information. I almost never censor comments. That’s why it was such a shock to me that nobody from any major corporation ever submitted a rebuttal to my court reporter shortage fraud work.

But I digress…

  1. With regard to your recent concerns I would like to offer our side of the story, since the complaints are made in a forum hidden from this side of the situation. The fact that these criticisms are only made in this type of venue and not in public where an open dialogue is welcomed, should be telling. The fact is that Vet Reporting currently has no invoice from a reporter older than TWO week from the date the transcripts were turned in to us. We make settlements to reporters multiple times per week and reporters are kept very current in terms of pay.

The person in question that is stirring up so much hate and emotion has brought her situation on herself. She had done work for us in the past and had been paid promptly for that work. She read the Facebook post just like you, and formed an opinion with only one side of the story. The reporter in that situation had returned a blank W9 forms to me three separate times during my efforts to pay her for her work. Each time it took days for her to respond with yet another blank form. Once I finally received her proper paperwork, that reporter was paid same day.

Based solely on reading this one-sided account, and ignoring the fact that she herself had been paid promptly in the past, she chose to hold transcripts hostage until payment was made. Further she was unable to give us an amount for her extortion, for three full weeks after the due date. This tells me that she didn’t bother to even produce the transcript until they were a full 17 business days late. At the time she completed then, she demanded full payment without penalty for the extremely late work product on two separate hearings. Given her highly unprofessional behavior, Vet Reporting not only suffered monetary damage in penalties accessed to us but also reputational damage as these contracting officers have made notations of late work in their reporting of contract performance. We contract with the federal government and are ourselves penalized harshly for late work. In turn all reporters are made aware of penalties at the time of booking should work be turned in late.

For this reason we were forced to deduct those penalties, which she was fully aware of at the time she accepted the job, from her final settlement. She obviously doesn’t agree with our decision but like I said, she brought the entire situation on herself. And is trying to make baseless claims in a forum protected from rebuttal in an attempt to further smear our reputation.

Vet Reporting currently works with dozens of reporters each month, I believe I sent out over 100 1099s to different reporters last year. If these allegations were true none of those would still be here. I don’t expect you to change your mind based on this correspondence but I won’t let the lies being told about us go unanswered.

Furthermore, i we are asking for these post regarding Vet Reporting, on the Record, and Roni Parks be removed. This is slanderous behavior and we will pursue action if this unprofessional and unwarranted behavior does not stop.

  2. “Anonymous,” eh?
I have a tale of my own to tell regarding Parks and Vet Reporting and will be sending an email to Mr. Day today.
