My son is being born today so this’ll be a quick link.
The bottom line is that the tying of membership product to certification product is illegal under antitrust laws. NCRA is now being sued.
Maybe the board will realize whose watch this happened on.
Maybe it’s time for new leadership.
Wish me luck today. I will need it.
Addendum:
I just realized I was cited in the complaint thanks to my best friend.

P.S.
If ever my son should find this, mom and dad waited a long time for this day.
We love you. And we will love you forever.
I set these events you’re reading about in motion with the help of powerful people — and readers just like you.
And though I hope you will, like me, stand against injustice and the bullying of others when you are ready…
I want you to know that I will be happy no matter who you become.
I can’t wait to meet you.

Congratulations to your family on your new addition!
Congratulations, Chris!

My son was born on a day of infamy too. December 7.

Congratulations and CONGRATULATIONS! First for spearheading the NCRA issue and most important for the birth of your son!! What a wonderful day! All the best to you and yours!
This will be an interesting story.

Omigosh! Congratulations!! My children have been my greatest joy.
A baby boy?!?! Congratulations! Wishing you and your family much happiness!
Congrats on the new kid!
Make sure you wait until he’s (at least) ten before you teach him to steno!
Truth be told, I might not teach him steno. I have to see how he grows.
